Maria has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Business Management from Russell Sage College in Troy, NY. Since completing college, she has accrued over 20 years of experience in Marketing, Sales and Management with companies such as Sibley, Lindsey & Curr; IDS, American Express Financial Advisors; Blue Cross and Blue Shield of PA; and Fulton Financial Corporation. A sampling of customers includes State Farm Insurance, Ridgaway Philips, Avon, Allstate Insurance, Contemporary Staffing, W.L. Gore, Coldwell Banker, Delaware River Port Authority and Sight & Sound Ministries.

As a certified Woman Business Enterprise in PA and DE, Maria is a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce (NCCCC) and the Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce. Maria has also been an active member of the NCCCC Chamber Pro Leadership Committee, the American Diabetes Association Wilmington chapter annual fund raising campaign, the Heritage Valley Federal Credit Union Supervisory Committee, York Junior Symphony Orchestra Board of Directors and many other civic involvements.
